Auto-Restart

Bots that crash are automatically restarted within seconds.

Real Support

You talk to a real person, not a ticket queue.

We Notify You

If something goes wrong or maintenance is coming, you'll hear from us first.

Code Review

Every bot is manually reviewed before it goes live. No exceptions.

Outage Credit

Power outage causing downtime? We credit $0.50 CAD per hour off your next bill.

What "24/7 Uptime" Means

We keep your bot running around the clock and aim for as close to uninterrupted service as we can manage. That said, we're a small operation running real hardware in a real location, and two things can cause planned or unplanned downtime that we want to be upfront about.

Scheduled maintenance: We do perform maintenance on the server when needed, such as updates, hardware checks, or configuration changes. We'll always give you a heads-up on Discord before any scheduled maintenance window so you know it's coming and roughly how long it'll take.

Power outages: Power outages can and do happen, sometimes lasting several hours. We don't have a UPS or generator in place right now, so if the power goes out, the server goes down until it comes back. We'll notify you as soon as we're able to, and we credit your account for the downtime (see the Outage Credit section below).

Outage Credit

If your service is down due to a power outage on our end, we will apply a credit of $0.50 CAD per hour of downtime to your next bill. This credit is calculated from the time the outage began to the time service was restored, rounded to the nearest hour.

This credit applies automatically. You don't need to ask for it. We'll confirm the credit when we follow up with you after the outage.

Outage credits apply to power outages only. They do not apply to the situations listed under "What's Not Covered" below, and they do not apply during scheduled maintenance windows.

Credits cannot exceed your monthly bill amount and are not redeemable as cash. For lifetime plan holders, credits will be noted but have no monetary application since there is no recurring bill.

Auto-Restart on Crash

All hosted bots are configured to restart automatically if they crash. In most cases your bot will be back online within a few seconds without any action needed on your part. If a bot is repeatedly crashing in a short window, we'll notice and reach out to help figure out what's going on.

What We Do When There's an Outage

If the server goes down or we detect a widespread issue:

We won't leave you guessing. If something breaks on our end, you'll hear from us.

What's Not Covered

The outage credit and our uptime commitments do not apply to the following situations:

If your bot crashes because of a bug in its own code, we'll let you know and help where we can, but the fix is on your end. If Discord is having a rough day, we're all in the same boat and there's nothing we can do on our side to speed that up.

Code Review Before Hosting

Before any bot goes live on our servers, a member of our team manually reviews the code. This isn't automated. A real person looks through it. We do this to protect our server, our other customers, and frankly you as well.

We will not host bots that contain:

We only host bots written in the following file types:

If your bot has files we're not familiar with or that fall outside this list, we'll ask you about them before making a decision. We're not trying to be difficult, we just need to understand what we're running on our machine.

If we find something in the code that we're not comfortable with, we'll tell you what it is and give you a chance to address it. If the issue is serious, we'll decline to host the bot and explain why.

Hardware Transparency

Our server currently runs on an Intel Core i5 760, 20 GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 2 TB HDD. Each bot runs in its own dedicated process with a strict RAM limit and isolated persistent storage, so one bot can't eat into another's resources. We're planning to upgrade the hardware down the road as the service grows.

Support Response Times

We're a small team, but we try to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Discord messages typically get a faster response than email. If you're reporting an urgent issue like your bot being completely offline, reach out on Discord for the quickest help.

Questions?

If you're unsure about anything covered here, reach out before signing up. We'd rather answer your questions up front than have you disappointed later. Find us through the contact form or on Discord.
